purported to have been paid to Ingtone Trading Co. for Trading
Co.'s shares. Nothing is entered in cash book. Shares in Ars.
Brewer's name passed out of her name into name of Inst one
Trading Co. Bash Book shows no cash passed at all. I have
not found 405,000 in bank booke of Bank. No item of 4 lakhs
at any time passed through banking account of Bank.
Customers' deposits $406,400. Overstated by sum of $260,000
being cross entry from Mortgage & Long Term Loan. It was not
customers deposit. Entry is false to that extent.
N.I.B.4 in Ex.À is atatutory report filed on 16.8.27 states total amount of cash received in respect of shares wholly for cash is $876,750. According to books Co. did not receive that
amount in cash. Up to 16.8.27 most in cash Co. did receive was $48,650 and $67,000 was a cross entry against item pai d
to Mr. Brewer for goodwill.
Ex.T are notes I made. It shows how $48,650 is made up. On p.l of Ex.T I show that $876,750 purports to have been received. On third page I show that on 10.6.27 amounts were received and
corresponding loans granted on same day, many were granted on
forms like Ex.i. All these ere crons cntries with amounts
shown as received on same day. No cabo was received in respect of $761,100 shown as amount received on p.3 of Ex.T.
